I’ve stopped using Tumblr now – never really took to it. I’m not a huge Facebook user (I used to be several years ago) and closed my original account earlier this year until people started asking if I did Facebook training. Hence opening up a new account with a completely different outlook and personal terms of reference. Rather than collecting ‘friends’ like football stickers – who tended to be people I once went to school with half a lifetime ago or someone I may have danced with at a ball, I’ve chosen to keep numbers on this account to a minimum – mainly for those I wanted to stay in touch with but who were not on Twitter, and for keeping tabs on events local to me.
